The Practice offers a few travel appointments. They are available on a first come first serve. Please do not leave it until the last minute to contact us as we do not offer emergency appointments for travel reasons.
Travel vaccination schedules can be complicated, therefore you should allow at least 8 weeks prior to travel to schedule any necessary vaccinations – we are unfortunately unable to offer this service if you are travelling within a 8 week time-frame.
Unfortunately time and time again many nurse appointments are wasted by people who fail to turn up for booked travel appointments. Regrettably it has become necessary to advise you that should a patient cancel at extremely short notice or fail to attend for a booked travel appointment the surgery will NOT offer a further appointment.
It is not an NHS requirement to offer travel vaccinations and therefore when necessary priority will be given in nursing clinics to NHS services that the surgery is contracted to offer.
